All tattoos are 3 dimensional and as the more superficial layers are removed the energy will need to be increased to have a therapeutic effect on the deeper parts of the tattoo. Consequently the rate of fading of a tattoo tends to reduce as it fades.
QS NdYag treatment is normally well tolerated and the process is considered to be no more painful than the original tattoo.
After treatment we will cool and cover the treated area. The covering can generally be removed after 24 hours but factor 50 SPF cream should be applied as a routine precaution for the following two weeks and ideally throughout the course of treatment.
